Nudge Advisory has become best known for the project management of ‘electric drive’ programmes on behalf of Mercedes-Benz UK.
Since 2007 the company has led the trial and demonstration of the smart electric drive product. Working with UK based technology partners and fleet customers across the UK, trials of 100 first generation vehicles have shaped future product design direction and informed the development of user propositions.
In 2009 the company secured in excess of £2.5million funding from Technology Strategy Board, paving the way for UK consumer trials involving 100 second generation vehicles operating across the South East & West Midlands regions of England.
The experiences of these programmes have been instrumental in smart’s decision to confirm volume series production from 2012.
